Tests and specimens

Generally, fresh specimens are required for accurate results; these should be taken or delivered to the surgery before 12 noon, between Monday and Friday.

Results and hospital letters

X Rays and results may take two to four weeks to come back to the practice. When telephoning for a result, please ring between 11.00am and 3.30pm. If you want to see a doctor about results or hospital letters, please check with the receptionist that the result / letter is back first before making an appointment.
